ContractorUmbrella are delighted to announce that after a review carried out by KPMG they have been approved as compliant with HMR&C regulations.
The recruitment industry has been crying out for a bench mark standard for Umbrella Companies to enable them to offer recommendations to contractors without fear of back taxes, penalties or being lumbered with contractors’ bad debts. That standard has now been set following the compliance audit carried out by big four firm, KPMG.
ContractorUmbrella’s sister company, SJD Accountancy, which was also included in the review, is the first accountancy firm to be confirmed by KPMG as NOT being caught by the MSC legislation.
What this ground-breaking move means is that both recruiters and contractors can use ContractorUmbrella and SJD Accountancy safe in the knowledge that they are genuinely compliant.
