Yesterday saw the launch of the 2012 ContractorUK Awards. The awards aim to celebrate and give recognition to those that have helped to support contractors during the year gone by. All of the awards are voted for by contractors directly via the popular ContractorUK website with the winners being announced in January 2013.
The award categories are:
• Best Recruitment Agency
• Best Client
• Best Jobsite
• Best Contractor Accountant
• Best Umbrella Company
• Forum Personality of the Year
• Best Forum Thread
A ContractorUK spokesperson said: "This is the highlight of the contracting calendar. It is a great opportunity for contractors to vote directly for those that have helped them in 2012. There is so much passion for contracting, especially on the ContractorUK forum, so this is great way for contractors to have their say. Forum Personality of the Year is a particularly well recognised award as the ContractorUK forum provides an exceptional platform for those in the industry to discuss topical issues and provide support to new and existing contractors."
