Latest figures show that the number of people applying for job roles in the healthcare sector continues to fall and has done consistently since April 2021.
The new report from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) and Broadbean Technology, revealed that the number of job applications dropped 35%, 24% and 32% in Q2, Q3 and Q4 2021 respectively.
Ann Swain, CEO of APSCo, commented on the findings, “It’s no secret that the healthcare arena is facing a significant shortage, but to see such a sustained decline in applicant numbers is concerning.
