UK job adverts have dropped since the government announced the National Insurance tax rise at the end of last year.
In the four months after the Autumn Budget announcements, job vacancies fell by 15.1% compared to the four months before.
According to the CV Library report, while a slight fall during this time is expected, it has been 30% higher than normal.
London has experienced the steadiest number of job adverts, only dropping by 0.4%, however, other parts of the country have seen higher figures.

Some of the biggest drops in advertised jobs included Nottingham (23%), Liverpool (22%), Norwich (22%) and Warrington (21%)
Lee Biggins, CEO of CV-Library, commented on the findings, “These figures make it clear that there has been an immediate response to the budget in anticipation of higher employment costs to come.
“There is no doubt the promised increase in NI costs has hit hiring.”
