Majority of UK professionals feel isolation rules should stay

As many as 70% of UK professionals surveyed said that they would’ve preferred isolation rules stayed in place after the 16^th of August 2021.

This is according to findings from a survey of 2,000 employees carried out by CV-Library. Interestingly, 82% also stated that despite the recent ‘pingdemic’ situation and the fact that Covid cases are continuing to rise, at the moment they do feel comfortable being in the workplace.

Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library, commented on the figures, “Along with safety, staff wellbeing is a top priority for UK businesses and to know such a large majority of professionals feel safe in the workplace is great news and hugely reassuring.”

Biggins added, “These are unprecedented times and there is no rule book, but the choices business owners make after the 16^th of August will have significant and wider repercussions.

“We all know from experience that feeling comfortable in the workplace is paramount and businesses need to listen to their staff. After all, with job postings at record levels and staff shortages in many sectors, candidates are in a strong position with plenty of alternative choices.”
