Recent figures have shown that professional IT vacancies are continuing to fare well with demand in Q1 71.1% higher compared to the previous year.

Research from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) using data provided by Vacancysoft revealed that although the first national lockdown saw IT recruitment dip, hiring recovered throughout the year and surged during the first three months of 2021.

This demand is thought to be due to increased requirements for tech professionals to keep Britain connected and businesses open during the pandemic.
