UK job market continues to thrive

Latest research has revealed positive news for the UK job market, with it seeing significant growth in the first quarter of 2018.

Findings from CV Library shows that job vacancies and application rates have all risen.

The top industries for finding candidates include:

–      Agriculture – applications up 55.9%

–      IT – up 37.7%

–      Recruitment – 33%

–      Construction – 32.9%

–      Manufacturing – 30.9%

–      Sales – 29.4%

–      Social care – 28.1%

–      Marketing – 28%

–      Automotive – 28%

Some of the UK’s larger cities also saw application rates rise in the last quarter, with Edinburgh (38.9%), Manchester (35.8%), Aberdeen (34.6%), Birmingham (34%) and Liverpool (30.5%) leading the way.
