For your reference, the Contractor Umbrella scheme default fund choice is Balanced (Targeting Annuity) and the Annual Management Charge is 0.75% (charged on a pro rata basis). The Pension Investment Approach Guide (please click here to download) will give more information about the default fund.  Everyone initially will go into this fund, however, members can choose to switch into their own funds. If you are interested in learning about the options available to you then please contact the member helpline to arrange a switch.

Remember, one of the benefits Contractor Umbrella gives its employees is that you can contribute up to £40,000 tax-free in any financial year. You’re not stuck paying in the minimum amounts like with other umbrella employers. If you want to contribute into your own scheme, rather than into our group pension plan, please speak to us.
