Latest findings have shown that over the last few months, the number of job applications has reached record levels.
The research, compiled by independent job board CV-Library, revealed that in Q3, total job applications were up +41% year-on-year – this is +57% compared to 2021.
These record levels even surpassed Q3 in 2020; this was when applications saw significant growth after the first lockdown.

Lee added, “There are still plenty of jobs available but we’re seeing recruiters being more cautious and selective in their hiring processes.”
